As the Advanced Training Administrator, you will provide On the Job Training instruction on TACNET and other Navy C4ISR systems, network and system administration. In this role, you will:
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the following: CANES, ADNS, CENTRIX-MME, SCI-N, SubLAN, ISNS
- Provide OJT instruction on TACNET operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems to program management.
- Support new system installations, integrations, and upgrades.
- Install, troubleshoot, maintains and repair products/equipment.
- Establish testing protocols and standards, providing training and guidance to engineers and technicians.
- Test interoperability of systems, measures transmission/outputs, troubleshoots and resolves issues, and maintains detailed evaluation and repair reports.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex functional problems that impact function's success.
- Lead tasks, including planning, execution, staff oversight, and status reporting for significant initiatives.
- Lead and direct the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An Active Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC (Common Access Card).
- Ability to successfully pass a drug/background screening.
- A High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional related experience
- A Bachelor's Degree will be considered in lieu of A High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional related experience
- 7 years of experience (Professional training experience, to include: establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, developing training programs, and applying the instructional system development (ISD) process is highly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Navy Shipboard Networks to include CANES, or other TACNET systems.
- Experience in three (3) of the following four (4) areas:
- Network Administration
- System Administration
- Technical Documentation
- Training
- Demonstrated expertise in C4I Networks and System Administration.
- Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and repair TACNET systems as an individual and in team situations.
- Ability to assess and respond to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment.
- Ability to promptly respond to telephone and email requests for technical support.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as necessary.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $68,974.77 to $112,085.42; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
