Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This role involves providing personal care to clients in their homes and/or staffing local facilities, such as assisted living, nursing homes, detox centers, rehab centers, and child facilities, when they need additional support. Enjoy the flexibility of per diem work, with the autonomy to accept or decline shifts based on your availability and preferences.
Responsibilities: Personal Care: - Assist clients with daily tasks, including showering, dressing, meal preparation, and driving to doctor's appointments and errands.
- Provide light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
- Develop and maintain positive, respectful relationships with clients and their families.
- Document care provided and report any changes in clients' condition to the supervising nurse.
Facility Staffing: - Work on the floor alongside facility CNAs to provide care to multiple patients.
- Orient to facility procedures and protocols while on shift.
- Assist with patient activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients by maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Communicate effectively with facility staff and report any patient concerns or changes in condition.
Qualifications: - Current CNA certification in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA, preferably in home health or a facility setting.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
