Job Description

We are currently hiring Coiler Operators for our client in Beaver Dam! Candidates who have machine operator experience are encouraged to apply. Apply now for a chance to be considered.

Location : Beaver Dam, WI

Wage : $20.36/hour; up to $26.20/hour based on experience; wage increase every 6 months

Hours: 3:00 p.m. 11:30 p.m., M-F

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up the spring coiling machines.
• Install and adjust all tooling required to coil the springs.
• Moving, loading, and unloading materials utilizing forklifts, hand truck or crane.
• Completes the coiling of springs according to work order.
• Inspects springs for proper dimensions and checks for desired length.
• Cleans machines and performs minor maintenance.
• Assists less experienced operators in selection of tooling and operation of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Brake press, punch press, CNC or manual press background is a plus
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Knowledge of machine tool capabilities and shop math
• Ability to read a caliper
• HS diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or when necessary on the job training is used.
