Area of Accountability * Understand the current capabilities of Hendrickson with regards to data analysis * Improve Hendrickson's data analysis and prediction capabilities * Implement any improvements, for use in the business * * Major Responsibilities (may vary depending on project): * Understand and document current processes around data ingestion and synthesis of our current forecasting system * Investigating advanced methodologies to improve forecasting, and determine with the team which one(s) are worth pursuing * Validate selected methodologies by using historical data and 'predicting' past forecasts and comparing them to actual * Once an acceptable methodology is selected, take steps to roll it out to the business * - All other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Enrolled student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in ComputerScience, IT, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or related field. * Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 * Must be able to commit to full-time (40-hours). * Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. * Excellent PC skills and tech familiarity. * Familiarity with data and or AI tools (SQL, PowerBI, Python, Tensorflow) * An understanding of time series data, and forecasting * This is not a comprehensive list of duties.
