Your Title: Data Science/Data Engineering Intern Job Location: Westminster, CO Timing: Summer 2025 Our data engineer/data scientist internship offers a variety of hands-on experience, depending on your area of interest and experience. You will receive hands-on experience using your data engineering and data science skills in a professional setting while learning how to operate in an agile, team environment. Key Responsibilities: Become intimately familiar with data requirements Manage, clean, and transform data for analysis using various programming languages Work with data engineers to ensure that data is properly managed and secured Work with data scientists on complex, multi-dimensional projects, and learn valuable leadership skills Learn how to effectively work under pressure and as part of a team Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems Communicate insights from data analysis to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Recommended Skills & Experience Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other related field Experience in any of the following languages: Python, Java, R, Scala, SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive Ability to think critically and work independently and collaborate with a team A wide degree of creativity, openness, and latitude when approaching problems Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
