Job Title: Director of Entertainment & Programming The Director of Entertainment & Programming is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of a diverse range of engaging activities and events tailored to meet the needs and preferences of residents. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure programs are well-integrated into the overall community experience, managing a vibrant team of programming professionals, and fostering partnerships with external organizations. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and strategic planning skills to design innovative programs that enhance resident satisfaction and promote community involvement. Essential Job Functions: Provide strategic direction for the community to deliver adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful programming addressing Physical, Social, Spiritual, Emotional, Cognitive, and Leisure needs. Determine resident programming preferences, talents, and needs; track participation and adjust events accordingly; evaluate program quality and content. Stay updated on active aging and generational trends to enhance community programming. Develop signature programs and events to enrich residents' living experience. Encourage resident engagement through positive relationships and personalized interactions. Qualifications: Requirements: Experience in planning and implementing activities, events, and organizing groups preferred. Must be 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience. Valid state Driver’s License Class E (Chauffeur's License) and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required. Knowledge of aging and disability issues is a plus. Supervisory experience is preferred.
