What we’re looking for: Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Director of Strategy & Operations to lead executive strategy, business operations and competitive intelligence. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to lead projects that support the larger business strategy and operations objectives of Gartner Digital Markets founded on a thorough understanding of business unit goals, the competitive landscape, and current and potential future business challenges. What You Will do: Executive Strategy: Support preparation for executive forums, including presentations to the Board of Directors, Operating Committee, CEO and other senior stakeholders. Manage the agenda and attendance for weekly Senior Leadership Team Meetings. Business Operations: Set the vision for strategic projects across sites and manage the roadmap for execution. Build business cases for strategic initiatives based on GDM priorities, market trends and competitive dynamics; get buy-in from the leadership team to implement. Summarize performance results, identify trends and drivers and communicate actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Deliver objective insights and help create a culture of data-driven decision making in a timely manner. Competitive Intelligence: Conduct ongoing competitive benchmarks to ensure GDM learns from the market. Present findings to GDM Sr. Leadership Team (SLT). What You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or similar discipline. 5+ years of experience consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy preferred. Track record of influencing senior leadership on complex issues and initiatives. Extreme attention to detail. Strong experience with project scoping and planning. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills. Strong analytical skills required (SQL and Advanced Excel).
