Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

In this role, you will operate manual and automated machines to assist with the production of engine heads. You will load parts into the machine, follow work instructions, collect materials and tools, run the parts, and ensure they meet specifications using micrometers and other measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and automated machines for engine head production.
• Load parts into machines and follow detailed work instructions.
• Collect necessary materials and tools for the job.
• Run the parts through the machines and ensure they meet specifications with micrometers and other measurement tools.
• Perform inspections of parts to ensure quality.

Essential Skills

• Experience with micrometers and machine operation.
• Ability to inspect parts and ensure quality.
• Basic computer skills, including typing and sending emails.
• Comfortable with hand and power tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of production experience.
• 6+ months of experience with hand/power tools.
• 6+ months of computer usage in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new roles.

Work Environment

The work environment is welcoming and friendly, with visible enjoyment among employees. It can be loud and dirty due to the nature of working with engines, oil, and grease, but the shop is relatively clean for the industry. Employees are willing to train and move individuals around to find the best role for them. The work hours are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baldwin, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
