Join Our Team as a GSE Mechanic!

Are you ready to take your mechanical skills to new heights? As a GSE Mechanic , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground support equipment. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• 🔧 Inspect and maintain ground support equipment used in operations.
• 🛠️ Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment to keep everything running smoothly.
• 💧 Check and service equipment with fuel, water, oil, and hydraulic fluid.
• 🔍 Diagnose problems using test equipment and manuals.
• 🔩 Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to specifications.
• 📝 Keep logs of work and report on issues.
• 📋 Complete necessary GSE paperwork.

Your Responsibilities

In addition to the tasks above, you’ll also need to:

• 💪 Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• 🗣️ Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• 🔍 Read and comprehend instructions, blueprints, and technical documents.
• ⚙️ Apply common sense to solve problems in standardized situations.
• 🔧 Use hand tools and precision measurement tools with ease.
• 🛡️ Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently.
• 💡 Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and physical stamina.

What You Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• 🎓 High School diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant experience.
• 🔑 Minimum age of 18 years.
• ✅ Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• 🛠️ Prior GSE or heavy equipment experience is a plus.
• 🔧 Must have your own tools and a valid driver’s license.
• 📜 Certification from a vocational school or apprenticeship is a definite advantage.
