Join Our Team as a Ground Support Equipment Technician!

As a Ground Support Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our machines, engines, and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Inspect and maintain ground support equipment used in operations.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul ground support equipment.
• Check and service equipment with fuel, water, oil, and hydraulic fluid.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and manuals.
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components as per requirements.
• Run diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues.
• Conduct repairs to maximize reliability.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery and systems.
• Clean and lubricate machinery components.
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
• Provide consultation on maintenance and preventative measures.
• Keep logs of work and report on issues.
• Complete GSE paperwork as required.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• A knack for reading and comprehending instructions and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
• Aptitude for using hand tools and precision measurement tools.
• A commitment to health and safety guidelines.
• Good physical strength and stamina.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

• A High School diploma or GED plus one (1) year of relevant experience.
• Prior experience with GSE or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Your own tools.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
• Valid ASE certification is preferred.

Compensation

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors, including skills, education, and experience. The pay range for this position is $22.66 to $25.84 per hour .
