JOB TITLE: HR Director

LOCATION: Erlanger, KY

PAY RATE: $100,000 to $130,000 per year

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract

SHIFT: 1st shift

POSITION OVERVIEW:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dynamic HR Director for our client in the manufacturing sector. This contract role offers a competitive salary of $100,000 to $120,000 per year. The HR Director will be responsible for developing HR strategies, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role requires a leader who can foster a positive workplace culture, enhance employee engagement, and support the organization’s overall business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s business objectives.

• Partner with the recruiting department, participate in the selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.

• Manage performance appraisals, site merit process, and day-to-day benefits, including benefits open enrollment coordination.

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, mitigating risks and handling workplace issues effectively.

• Foster a positive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction and productivity.

• Oversee employee engagement activities.

• Oversee employee relations, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

• Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

• Supervise and mentor the HR team, ensuring efficient execution of HR functions.

• Drive change management and organizational development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.

• Minimum of 14 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance.

• Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Experience with HR software and data-driven decision-making.
