Job Title: Inventory Manager

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Job Description:

We are seeking a Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory processes at our Schaumburg, IL location. In this role, you will ensure the availability of spare parts to meet customer demand and business growth targets. You will manage forecasting models, inventory budgets, and pricing strategies, while reporting key performance metrics to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual demand forecasts using statistical models, accounting for historical trends and demand drivers.
  
• Develop and maintain forecasting models to optimize parts availability and stock levels, collaborating with the central parts planning team.
  
• Propose stock orders based on forecasts and urgent customer needs from the global inventory network.
  
• Create and manage yearly inventory budget plans, and track monthly operational inventory targets, implementing corrective measures when needed to control storage costs.
  
• Implement pricing policies and analyze price changes to maintain profitability, while processing pricing escalations.
  
• Evaluate and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as availability, inventory turnover, and pricing metrics to management.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
  
• Strong analytical skills, with expertise in statistical and mathematical modeling.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (experience with SAP material planning is a plus).
  
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
