IT Project Manager – Workflow Management
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – Onsite 3 Days/Week)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Collaborating with Offshore Teams in India)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead and oversee technical projects focused on workflow management . This role requires a strategic and results-driven professional with 5+ years of project management experience , strong Agile expertise , and excellent documentation skills . The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, mitigate risks, and drive successful project outcomes .
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects related to workflow management.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation , including project plans, status reports, and risk management strategies.
Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to drive efficient project execution and team collaboration.
Proactively identify and resolve project risks to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
Work closely with developers, designers, business analysts, and offshore teams to maintain project alignment.
Conduct regular project meetings , provide updates, and gather stakeholder feedback to ensure engagement.
Implement best practices for workflow management and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
✔️ 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects.
✔️ Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
✔️ Excellent documentation skills , with experience creating and maintaining project plans.
✔️ Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams (including offshore teams).
✔️ Familiarity with project management tools such as ADO and Jira is a plus.
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
✔️ PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
✔️ Strong problem-solving skills , adaptability, and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
