Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator - 

Location: Pittsburg, KS

Pay Range: $15 per hour

What's the Job?

• Operate or tend plastic molding machines, such as compression or injection molding machines, to mold, form, or cast thermoplastic materials to specified shapes.
• Read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in production.
• Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of production.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation and workflow.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
