Wilson Sonsini is currently looking for a New Business & Conflicts Analyst to join the firm's Conflicts team to support the west coast business hours. Working under the direction of the Senior Manager, New Business and Conflicts and other in-house counsel, the New Business & Conflicts Analyst reports on potential conflicts of interest relating to client and matter intake as well as new attorney and staff hiring.
This position is available as a fully remote opportunity. The daily hours for this role will be 9:30am - 6:30pm (Pacific).
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: - Perform conflict of interest searches for new clients, new matters, and new hires
- Research corporate information
- Create new client and matters and update client information in our accounting database
- Communicate with various personnel within the firm to obtain requisite information to process new clients and matters
- Assist with other duties related to the resolution and clearance of new business and conflicts issues as assigned
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree required
- 1+ year of Conflicts experience required
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Able to exercise independent judgment
- Able to work efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism
The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:
San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $24.52 - $33.17 per hour
Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $22.07 - $29.85 per hour
Salt Lake City and all other locations: $19.61 - $26.54 per hour
The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
