Job Description:

The Parts Manager is responsible for all facets of the parts department including sales, gross profit, inventory, and customer service. The Parts Manager reports to the General Manager and works with department VPs to further growth and profitability.

Essential Job Functions:

• Daily management of parts department staff
• Lead by example and drive the department to meet or exceed revenue and gross profit goals
• Work with the service, sales, and leasing departments to provide parts needed
• Use of catalogs and parts manuals to identify and sell heavy duty trailer and truck parts
• Responsible for purchasing and replenishment for branch
• Inventory control
• Operate the point-of-sale business system
• Continually grow product and application knowledge of product essential to the heavy-duty vehicle aftermarket
• Sales calls on multiple market segments including retail, installation, and fleet customers

Qualifications:

• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
• Driven to achieve goals
• Must be an excellent communicator
• Must be able to multitask
• Experience in heavy duty parts
• Basic Computer and math skills
• College education preferred but not required
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug test and/or MVR check, as applicable for the role
