PT - Research Assistant Salary: $15.00 per hour Summary of Function: Staffs the Library Service Desk and answers research and technology-related questions. Typical Duties: Serves Students. Staffs the Library Service desk and answer research questions in person and by email, phone, text, and instant messaging.Finds print and electronic information resources to share with library users. Answers computer and technology-related questions. Promotes the development of library skills to users of all levels. Completes special projects and assists with librarian-led activities. Coordinates with the Circulation staff to assist in Circulation-related duties such as checking in and out materials, making library cards, and closing duties. Co-supervises student workers on evening and weekend hour. Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
