About the Role Real Estate Analyst

The Real Estate Analyst will support our Asset Management team in optimizing the performance of our commercial real estate portfolio. This role will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, market research, and performance tracking to drive strategic decision-making for our assets.

  • Primary Work Location: Headquarters - St Louis Park, MN Office
  • Work Environment: Hybrid
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 am - 5 pm

Who We're Looking For
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assess asset performance, cash flows, and investment returns
  • Analyze property-level financials, including rent rolls, operating statements, and capital expenditures
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis for commercial assets
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses to support decision-making on leasing, refinancing, and disposition strategies
  • Monitor and assess the financial and operational performance of commercial properties within the portfolio
  • Support lease negotiations by evaluating tenant financials, lease structures, and market comparable
  • Track key asset management metrics such as occupancy, NOI, and lease expiration schedules
  • Collaborate with property managers and leasing teams to enhance property performance and tenant retention
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and risks affecting asset performance
  • Provide insights on market conditions, including rental rates, vacancy trends, and economic drivers
  • Support the acquisition and disposition process by preparing investment analyses and underwriting potential transactions
  • Collaborate with Director of Investor Relations on investor reports, presentations, and asset summaries for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in quarterly and annual asset valuations, working closely with senior leadership and third-party appraisers
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track portfolio performance and key performance indicators

  • Real Estate & Financial Acumen - Understanding of commercial real estate, financial modeling, and investment analysis
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized - Ability to manage multiple projects, track key asset metrics, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Collaborative & Communicative - Works well with asset managers, leasing teams, and stakeholders to drive portfolio success
  • Tech-Savvy - Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and insights

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance or economics
  • 2+ year's of experience in commercial real estate asset management, investment analysis or financial modeling
  • Experience with ARGUS Enterprise Software required
