Real Estate Development Analyst

Kane Realty Corporation has exciting openings for Development Analysts to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. These particular openings are designed for early-career professionals who have already gained hands-on experience in financial analysis, project management, commercial real estate or related fields (1-3 years preferred) and are eager to contribute to high-profile mixed-use development projects.

At Kane Realty, you'll be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team working on transformative urban development initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leaders and key stakeholders , playing a key role in projects from predevelopment through construction. If you have real-world experience analyzing development opportunities, managing financial models, and/or coordinating project logistics , we encourage you to apply.

Ways you will contribute to the Team:

  1. Market & Financial Analysis: Take ownership of financial modeling for ongoing projects. Conduct market research and scenario analysis, identifying key assumptions that impact project feasibility. Present findings to leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  2. Predevelopment Coordination: Act as the key point of contact for due diligence efforts. By the end of your first quarter, ensure that all predevelopment files are well-organized, vendor contracts are properly tracked, and entitlement processes are being proactively managed.
  3. Construction & Budget Oversight: For active development projects, serve as the liaison between the extended project team and the development team. Manage construction financial requests, documentation, and change orders while ensuring budgets and schedules remain updated and on track.
  4. Meeting & Communication Management: Maintain structured communication between consultants, ownership, and the internal team. Lead meeting documentation, action item follow-ups, and coordination of materials for capital sources and investors.
  5. Process & Problem-Solving: Gain comfort in making judgment calls on unforeseen challenges. Develop a reputation for anticipating project risks and proactively recommending solutions based on precedent and strategic thinking.

What you bring to the Role:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, project management, commercial real estate, or related fields.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills -prior experience developing financial proformas is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational , communication and critical thinking skills-clear, concise reporting and documentation are critical.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment , balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
