Our client is seeking a talented individual to contribute to their finance department's success by assisting in the preparation of financial analysis reports, budget development, and generating revenue and cost reports. This role will also involve collecting essential information for third-party audits, supporting operational staff with accounting matters, and identifying process improvement opportunities.

What you’ll do….
• Weekly credit card transaction reconciliation: Manage the posting of credit card transactions on a weekly basis
• Month-end accounting close: Collaborate with the Accounting Department to facilitate the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines. This includes journal entry preparation, research, project management, and effective interdepartmental communications
• Balance sheet and income statement reconciliations: Perform reconciliations for various accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements
• Fixed asset management: Maintain the fixed asset subledger and associated financial reporting
• Ad hoc analysis: Prepare analyses as requested by the CFO to support operations and finance decision-making
• Investor and bank reporting: Assist the CFO, Controller, and Accountant in preparing monthly investor and bank reporting packages
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Prepare weekly KPIs by division and region for management reporting and support departmental reporting and analysis
• Audit and tax compliance support: Contribute to the year-end audit and tax compliance processes
• Continuous process improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Data extraction and manipulation: Extract and manipulate data from our proprietary construction software and accounting software to support reporting and analysis

What you’ll need…
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
