Job Description

Our client, a leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of the Large Scale Renewables department supporting Transmission Line Project. .

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Albany / NY City 

Pay Range: $65-$75/HR 

What's the Job?

• Lead monitoring and reporting of construction progress, attend multi-agency meetings, and analyze submitted reports.
• Organize and lead site visits in the field throughout the project corridor.
• Proactively identify and report on project and schedule risks along with necessary mitigation activities.
• Perform contract compliance monitoring and maintain tracking tools, escalating issues as needed.
• Develop appropriate project metrics and tracking mechanisms to convey project status effectively.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in construction management and monitoring of transmission line projects (MUST)
• Expertise in schedule creation, forecasting, and analysis.
• Strong skills in contract interpretation and compliance analysis.
• Familiarity with Article VII permitting processes (Highly preferred)
• Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
