Job Title: Experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanic – 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Location: Eau Claire Truck & Trailer Inc. – Eau Claire, WI
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 ( DOE)
Job Summary:
Eau Claire Truck & Trailer Inc. is looking for a reliable and experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team. You’ll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing trailers and trucks—handling everything from annual DOT inspections to full system repairs. If you're a hands-on professional who enjoys solving mechanical challenges and working in a team environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform DOT inspections on trucks and trailers (both scheduled and off-road).
Inspect and repair brakes, suspensions, shocks, struts, and electrical components.
Conduct welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems.
Maintain clear records of work performed and parts used.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a truck/trailer mechanic or similar role.
Skilled in the use of power tools, hand tools, and alignment equipment.
Ability to read schematics and diagnose complex mechanical/electrical issues.
Basic personal tool set required.
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic.

1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
