Position Summary To collect vibration and thermography data at in scope machinery for baseline and ongoing monthly data collection activities for a Condition Based Monitoring program. Assist with data analysis and reporting of data collected, as required.
LOCATION
•Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and at the job site when required.
•This position will be based at a client site in south Louisiana.
Duties & Responsibilities FUNCTIONS
Support the Oceaneering consultancy team with the following activities:
•Set up measurement locations and carry out routine and non-routine machinery condition monitoring data collection, using data collectors and web-based machinery database with direction and support from Oceaneering consultancy team.
•Drive standards in data collection by recognizing bad collection indicators in the data e.g. ski slopes, data fluctuations, missing data etc.
•Assist with the baseline data analysis and production of the detailed baseline report.
GENERAL
•The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the incumbent will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the role.
•Assist with any other duties as and when required.
•Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

•Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Qualifications REQUIRED
•Must be trained/accredited to Level 2 Vibration Analysis (BINDT or equivalent).
•Minimum 5 years' experience in the Mechanical Engineering discipline.
•Minimum 5 years' experience in Condition Monitoring and rotating equipment maintenance/engineering.
DESIRED
•HND qualification in Engineering Discipline.
•Mechanical or Electrical Industry recognized qualification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS
•Able to proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat PDF writer.
•Ability to generate a team approach to problem solving and a good communicator, both written and verbal.
Additional Information This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is considered both OFFICE and SITE WORK which is characterized as follows:
•Can be office based or outdoors during the day and occasionally at night.
•Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace.
•Occasional exposure to noise over 85 db.
