Job Description

Our client, a counseling center located in Midtown East, Manhattan, is seeking a Temporary to Permanent Executive Assistant to support the CEO and COO. This position will start ASAP. This person will be in the office 5 days/week. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm with flex to stay later and check emails after hours.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Chief Executive Officer and the COO
• Staff onboarding - background checks, fingerprinting, computer and email account set up.
• Ensure all employee files are current with all certificates needed
• Update laptop master list with current employee information and serial #s for equipment.
• Verify laptops are in working condition and cleaned when being returned.
• Board meeting and event preparation - invitations, catering and set up

• Maintain CEO's daily schedule
• Front desk coverage as needed

• Other projects as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience as an executive assistant
• Degree highly preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, customer service and follow up skills required.
• Excellent organizational and management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines and juggle competing tasks.
• Must have strong knowledge of computer software applications including MS Office Suite and Outlook.
• Commitment to maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients and staff, and ensuring confidentiality of all information and records.
• Exhibits excellent customer relationship skills

Compensation:

• Salary is $75k - $95k DOE
• Partially covered medical, dental, and vision
• 401k after first year
• 15 days vacation
