Chef de Cuisine

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: $120,000

The Client:

I am working with a distinguished culinary destination who is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to join their new concept. This role will be in a fine dining restaurant who is part of a Michelin starred group. We are looking for someone who has a high degree of culinary skills as well is comfortable interacting with guests,

Responsibilities:

• Manage the culinary operations, ensuring guests are provided with an outstanding experience
• Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently and to the highest standards
• Recruit a high performing team. Train staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards
• Establish appropriate staffing levels and conduct daily shift briefings with culinary team members
• Manage inventory, labour and food costs
• Work closely with team to help curate seasonal menus.

Chef de Cuisine Requirements:

• 3+ years of kitchen management experience in a fine dining establishment
• Japanese cuisine experience or strong desire to learn
• Possess a hands-on attitude
• Strong financial acumen and leadership skills
• Genuine passion for food and dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences
